My week in Cefalù with Jean and Francesca was a complete game changer. We were soaked in Italian from morning till night. The best outcome for me has been that I’ve completely lost my fear of speaking Italian. I can now chat away, imperfectly but happily, and enjoy interactions and conversations I couldn’t manage before. If you’re not sure – book the trip! You won’t regret it.

As a seasoned traveler who wanted recommendations for an “un-tourist” tourist experience, Jean was the most exquisite guide! She lead us to so many unique experiences and helped us immensely in curating the accommodations we were considering. Francesca was more than just a teacher, she was a guide, helping me to become a part of life in Italy. At so many turns, she provided tips on how to negotiate different situations, challenges and opportunities, and how to see things from the inside.

From where to rent a car, airline suggestions and what areas to stay in each city we visited. We had a fabulous time and if we go back I will definitely use Jean to help plan our next adventure.
